OUR WINES

Our mission is to express our landscape through wines that are hand crafted, timeless and suitable for laying down. Five red wines, three white wines, two designations of origin and one philosophy – the enjoyment of sharing moments together.

PAGO DE LOS CAPELLANES

Founded in Pedrosa de Duero, in the province of Burgos, this was the Rodero Villa family's first wine growing venture. The local clay and gravel soils, the altitude of our Tempranillo vineyards and our meticulous production methods produce timeless wines, noted for their full-bodied nature and velvety texture.

O LUAR DO SIL

The search for authenticity brought us to Galicia, where we settled in the town of Seadur, in the province of Ourense. We use the native variety of Godello, the treasure of Valdeorras, to make subtle, delicate wines cloaked in the characteristic minerality of the local landscape.

VISIT US

We propose an experience amongst walnut trees and ancient vineyards, where you can delve into the history of Pago de los Capellanes and our way of understanding wine. Our visitors get the chance to relax while they contemplate the landscape and enjoy the character of our wines.

THE RODERO VILLA FAMILY

Our story starts in Pedrosa de Duero. In this small village in the province of Burgos, our grandfather Doroteo Rodero owned a small family vineyard growing the native Tempranillo variety and working the land alongside his son Paco. Husband and wife team Paco Rodero and Conchita Villa went on to recover this and other vineyards in the area. Years later, they set up the Pago de los Capellanes winery to process the fruit from their own vines. Since then our mission has been to express our landscape through hand crafted, timeless wines.
